At Biohack Hardware, technical precision, empirical reproducibility, and editorial transparency govern every published evaluation. This Editorial Standards & Corrections Policy defines our testing protocol and correction procedures.
Our 4-Step Hardware Testing Protocol
- 1. Calibrated Instrumentation: All optical power output, EMF radiation, and acoustic noise levels are measured using laboratory-calibrated meters at standardized distances (e.g. 6 inches, 12 inches).
- 2. Independent Verification: We do not rely on manufacturer-reported technical spec sheets. All claims regarding spectral peaks, continuous lux, or thermal dissipation are independently measured.
- 3. Conflict of Interest Firewalls: Editorial personnel evaluating hardware have no financial stake or consulting agreements with the reviewed brands.
- 4. Transparent Corrections Protocol: If a technical specification or measurement error is identified, we correct the article promptly and publish an explicit, timestamped correction note.
To report a technical discrepancy or submit updated lab documentation, email our review board at corrections@biohackhardware.com.
